Getting Back into Action

I finally have some time on my hands to work on this blog. I don't have any of the new fall collections yet but am looking into placing a few orders. In the mean time I will be reviewing some oldies but goodies! So stay tuned!

Another broken nail.

My other thumb nail broke this morning. I'm going to just patch & redo my thumb, if I can w/ out making a mess of the rest of my nails. At this rate I'm never going to get to the Millionails experiment. Here is a picture of this week's manicure. OPI's Marooned on the Magnificent Mile. It's a gorgeous color, less pink IRL on my nails, the pictures show the color in the bottle pretty ture to life. I believe this OPI is the new formula as well as the Pro Wide brush, it went on beautifully and I had no problem with the brush. I guess all the polishing practice is finally paying off. I'll have to give my Russians another chance.

Naked Nails - Week 1

These are not the best pictures, I had trouble taking a picture of my right hand because I'm right handed, but you can still kinda see my poor thumb nail. It keeps breaking but not close enough to the top where I can cut it.

My goal is to take progress pictures at the end of each week. So every Monday for the next 3 months

Essie Millionails Directions

I threw out the insert from my Millionails so here are the instructions according to www.Essie.com.

Step 1 ultimate nail strengthener
The first step in essie's advanced three part nail strengthening system. Specially formulated with silk amino acids, iron and other natural ingredients, millionails® oxygenates and binds to the nail, creating a protective shield and improving strength, flexibility and growth.

Directions for use:
Apply millionails® to clean natural nails, avoiding the cuticle area. Reapply an additional coat of millionails® every other day. Remove millionails® with a non-acetone nail polish remover every week and begin regimen again. For best results, apply millionails® for up to 90 days. Millionails® can also be used as a base and top coat with your favorite essie nail colour. Nails will be noticeably stronger and healthier looking and ready for phase 2, billionails.

(I'm restarting today 9/17 because my thumb nail broke. I will update w/ before pictures later on today.)

New Blog.

I started this blog to write about my nail polish obsession. If I keep up with it (which I hope I will) it will have plenty of reviews and pictures. I'm a recovering fake nail-aholic and am currently trying to get my nails pretty again. I had arcrylics on & off for the past 6 years. I'm done with them now, and have begun collecting nail polish.

My nails are dry, peeling, weak & just not in good condition. I'm currently using Essie Millionails to try to get them back to good health. My favorite brands include OPI & Zoya, although I have polishes from all sorts of brands. I love pinks and am just getting into vampies. My favorite vampy trend is navy blue and I'm just getting into purples.

A little bit about myself - I'm a 20 year old SAHM, I've been married for almost 3 years, I have an 18 month old son & my fur baby just turned 2. I'm going back to school but ultimately I want to go to school to be a hair stylist/make up artist. I love reading, fashion, and anything beauty/nail related.
